Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as fourteen years old. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd had an amazing 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent right in the first round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen in a unanimous vote. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 after signing as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills was able to take down McGill, and she managed to finish her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She defeated Lina by pounding and grounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the first round and was awarded the Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's debut major fight. The two fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters receiving an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, lost to Randamie. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
