Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney September 6 1953) is an American actress. She's best-known as Lieutenant Sheba of the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978-1979. Lockhart is the daughter of actor June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart started her acting career very early. Agents might have turned down the opportunity for her, but not even known. Glen Larson chose her initially and gave her a preliminary written script. She was to appear in the TV series Battlestar Galactica, which aired from 1978. She originally rejected the position as she believed the character was weak. Glen created a brand new role for her, featuring Sheba as a more powerful character. The Living Legend's first 25-page script was read to her, and she immediately endorsed it.
