Tito Ortiz was a Huntington Beach, California native. He was born 23 January 1975. His birth name is Jacob Christopher Ortiz. He was a resident of Huntington Beach before he moved to Santa Ana. Ortiz is half-Mexican on his father's side. His father was Sam Ortiz and he gave him the nickname Tito. Both of his parents, heroin addicts were a source of stress in his early years. He was also a member of the gangs. He also used cocaine and other substances. He was placed in juvenile halls as a kid. When he was 13years old, his parents divorced. He attended Huntington Beach High School, where he would wrestle. When he reached the age of 18 years old, his mother was able to kick him out.
